Referral programme terms

Plain terms for sharing Robodatech and being paid for it. The numbers that can change (the commission rate, the most per order, how long a link lasts, the hold and the minimum payout) are shown on the programme page; the rate that applies to a referral is the one in force when it is recorded.

1. Who runs it

The programme is run by Robodatech (robodatech.com). Questions: contact@robodatech.com. These terms sit alongside the store’s terms of use and privacy policy.

2. Joining

Anyone aged 18 or over with a robodatech.com account can join, once, by accepting these terms on the programme page. Your membership is tied to your account’s email address. Joining is free and you can leave at any time from the same page.

3. What counts as a referral

• Someone clicks your link and, within the link’s lifetime, places and pays for an order in the Robodatech shop (machines, kits and parts).
• They are a new customer: no earlier paid order at Robodatech under their email address or their signed-in account. Only their first paid order counts.
• The last referral link they clicked before ordering is the one that counts.
• Your own orders never count, under any email address. Nor do orders you place for someone else, or orders from people you pay or reward to click.
• Funding pledges on Funded Projects do not count: pledge money is committed to the project’s published use of funds. Robodatech Cloud plans do not count.

4. Commission

The commission is the published percentage of the order’s goods value before GST and carriage, after any backer price, and never more than the published most per order. It is worked out to the paisa, rounded down, when the referral is recorded, and it does not change if the programme’s numbers change later.

5. Approval, cancellations and refunds

• A referral is pending until the order has been dispatched and the published hold period since payment has passed; then it is approved.
• If the order is cancelled or refunded before approval, the referral earns nothing. If that happens after approval but before payment, it is reversed. If it happens after we have paid you, the amount is taken from your next payout.
• We may decline a referral that breaks these terms, and we tell you why.

6. Payment and tax

• We pay approved commission by UPI to the UPI ID on your programme page, normally within 30 days of your approved balance reaching the published minimum. We email you when we pay.
• Where Indian income-tax law requires tax to be deducted at source on commission, we deduct it before paying and will ask for your PAN first; without a PAN the law may require a higher deduction. We send you the deduction certificate the law requires.
• If you are registered for GST, tell us before your first payout.
• Commission is not paid in any other form and cannot be exchanged for goods.

7. How you may share your link

• Say that you earn a commission wherever you recommend Robodatech with your link (for example “I earn a commission if you buy through this link”), as India’s advertising guidelines require.
• Be honest about the products: no invented claims, prices, discounts or reviews.
• Not allowed: spam or unsolicited bulk messages; paid search ads on the Robodatech name; coupon, cashback or deal sites; cookie stuffing, pop-ups or hidden links; paying or rewarding people to click or buy; pretending to be Robodatech.

8. Privacy

We keep your email address, your referral code, your UPI ID and the name on it, a daily count of clicks on your link, and your referrals and payouts. We never tell you who bought, and we never tell a customer who referred them. We do not record the IP address or device of anyone who clicks a link. The referral cookie holds only your code and lasts for the link’s published lifetime.

9. Suspension, ending and changes

• We may suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms. A suspended link stops counting and pending referrals are not approved while it lasts. Commission already approved for honest referrals is still paid.
• We may change these terms or end the programme with 14 days’ notice by email. Changes never reduce commission already recorded.
